On Christmas Day evening, we "packed up" yet again and had Christmas with my side of the family. We always have a great time at Aunt Alice's house with more food than you can comprehend. Delic. My mom found these little Santa shirts in all three kids' sizes so of course we sported them for Christmas night. We had a great time opening even more gifts! With each present we unwrapped, I could hear Ryan in his head trying to compute how we were going to get all of this back to Ohio. Very quickly, he determined it simply wasn't all coming back with us. No way unless we were that family with a mini van, turtle shell AND uhaul trailer. Nope.

| This had to be documented: Caden eating one of Cousin Kelsey's Cake Balls. Good ole Caden was on his cracker rampage over the Christmas break, not eating well most days. |

| You could tell when Jenna's medicine ran out, she completely fell apart. Her fever got so high Christmas night - up to 103! So sad! |
We spent the night at my parents house with Aunt Robin and Uncle Brad too! On this night, we received one of the best presents I have ever received (at least since becoming a mom)....a full nights sleep during the newborn stage! The twins were still not sleeping well from their colds and Easton was still having a hard time with his congestion so leading up to this night, we were probably getting 30 minutes at a time all night...for days and days and days! Exhausting!
So, my Dad slept in the room with the twins to keep them quiet and comforted, my mom, Robin and Brad took Easton duty and fed him bottles and held him upright through the night. This allowed me and Ryan to sleep all night! As in, drool-on-the-pillow, it-hurts-to-wake-up kind of sleep! Glorious! We both felt SO good when we woke up - how wonderful to have rest and energy!

This is the infamous hallway my sister galloped, I mean ran, up and down when she was little. The twins could run up and down it all day. They LOVE chasing each other...esp with only diapers on!

What a transient, on-the-go Christmas, but what a wonderful one with family! So thankful we could work it out to be in NC surrounded by family and friends during the Christmas season.
