Easton: 8 months

Easton, Easton...June was a quite normal month for once! We were in between finding our house and closing so no more spur of the moment houses to go see, no more meetings for contract stuff, no moving to other houses this week or that week, ahhh.....We went to the beach for a week and had a blast. You were not the biggest lover of the beach (which really concerns your mother!) because you didn't like the wind in your face. If we turned you away from the wind or put a towel up, you were fine. So it looks like we will be setting up the tent each time you are with us at the beach!

We went to the pool for the first time month. Mommy could just barely handle all three of you by herself around that much water! But then again, you are Easton and this is what you did the entire time...just laid back, sucked on that thumb and did what you do best: easy. This allowed me to chase after your mermaid sister and clingy brother.

You LOVE doing anything your brother and sister are doing. They are the best form of entertainment out there! In fact, I have not even dusted off the Baby Einstein DVD's for you like I had with the twins by this time. And much to your Father's dismay...mommy and Gigi even found you some matching outfits to wear with big brother...or as in the picture below, not-so-big brother! :)

So since you want to do everything they are doing anyway, we took the plunge and put you in the bathtub with them. It makes things so much easier for mommy and daddy - down to one bath for all the kiddos! I love how it looks like they are watering you in the picture below as if you were a flower or something and as if you needed watering. Your growing just fine.

This month we really started to notice you pulling way in the weight/height department. Outfits that Caden wore months later fit you like the picture below...aka didn't fit. oops! I'm nursing you 4x a day then feeding you at the table when we sit down to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. You eat baby food like a champ - still refuse green pea's but literally inhale anything else. Thank You, son!

You also showed us some crazy strength this month! You like to go up with your arms straight out like a yoga plank - and hold it there for a while. Mommy can't even do that! You are definitely my big boy and I LOVE it. You are so cuddly with all of that goo although you may be starting to hurt Mommy's back some. I do believe your cradle cap is finally under control and you are just the happiest thing being able to sit up and be part of the action now!
