BEACH TRIP!

Back in June, Ryan had to go overseas for work....sooooo when you live with your parents and they are retired.....you go to the beach for a week! woo hoo! We had so much fun. The twins were an AWESOME age for the beach this year. Still in swimmie diapers so no running to find a bathroom (or, yes the ocean...I know, I know) and they were in awe of the ocean, wind and waves! They literally did NOT stop the entire time on the beach. We typically went out in the am from about 10 - 12, came in and ate lunch , napped, ate dinner then went back out and played til the sun started going down! ahhhh perfection. Despite all of our fun, we missed Daddy terribly :(

I got a great break at the beach by sleeping in a room all by myself!!!! The twins went in one bedroom and my parents graciously took Easton to their room. Seriously, the beach is the best place on earth for so many reasons!

Anyway, here are some of my favorite shots from our June trip to the beach.

The twins learned to dig holes and fill them up with water (by way of Papa T carrying the bucket back and forth 455 times). Then they would run and jump and make a "big splash!" Check out Jenna's mad air.

Caden went for the long jump approach as opposed to high jump technique.

Those two love the beach! Jenna and Papa T

We (too frequently) went to the new Bakery Shop and enjoyed yummy treats under the house at nights.

The twins and Papa T ran ALL OVER that beach.

oh yea, sometimes they walked...

And sometimes, to help contain them, we drew a giant maze and watched them run around and around. Pure genius if you ask me.

I have this exact same picture of Caden when he was this age!

She is a MESS.

If you can't have your husband at the beach with you, second best is to have his mini-me!

A storm washed up a bunch of debris (and toys!) one night. Jenna found his buoy and worked on her soccer skills.

No words....

Caden made a game of sticking his stick down all of the crab holes on the beach. Kept waiting for this game to bite us (pun intended.:) )

The beach is the BEST place to nap!

Aunt Robin and Uncle Brad came for the weekend!

Checking out the water and sand...

Get me back to the beach, somebody!
