Last few weeks in NC

Well, our iphones have synced up with our computer so now I can finish posting all of the fun activities we jam packed in our last few weeks in NC. It was a hard time being split up as a family and having to make so many important decisions, but we treasured our time with family and friends. No wonder we all have the homesick blues!

We enjoyed making a mess while Mommy tried to pack :)

We went back to Krispie Kreme to use up all of our free Valentine Doughnut coupons! yum!!

We got very good at feeding gigi's fish

We went to our bud Truett's 1st Birthday party! It was a nautical themed party so we did it up Sailor-Style! Jenna loved the bouncy house with all of the balls. Caden.....he loved the basketball goal. Surprise.

Caden got his first black eye in the Nursery. They SAY Jenna was no where around.....:)

Only Jesus got me through the crazy week where movers came and packed up our entire house in a day! Then they came back the next morning and loaded it all on this 18 wheeler. And no...we didn't take up the WHOLE thing...but 80% of it. Granted....they packed our CAR up too so keep that in mind. We didn't think poor ole Audi would make it on her own driving 500 miles / 10 hours so in the truck she went! It was amazing to watch.

I had the BEST time in the world reconnecting with my high school girlfriends...my maids of honor!

I took the twins for walks in our neighborhood and fed the ducks and turtles in the pond. I told them stories of how crazy mommy went swimming in this disgusting pond when she was growing up. Ewwwww

We let the twins get their first experience with corn on the cob. They loved it. And it was awesome to watch!

Looks like Jenna is going to be my helper! Granted, its the pan, but its the thought that counts...right?

We took a whirlwind trip to Greenville, SC to visit Ryan's older brother and his wife and their new TWINS! Yep....That's two of those Little brothers with twins now....absolute crazy. We had the best time snuggling with them...brought back SOOO many memories! But, lets be honest...glad we are out of that every 3-hour-feeding-twins stage :) You will make it Sarah, I promise! Aren't they precious...didn't help our drive down memory lane with Elysabeth and Elliot wearing some of C and J's clothes! Precious!

Then we celebrated Easter our last day in NC. I'm SOOOOO glad we were here to celebrate with Family and our Church Family. The twins loved Easter Egg Hunting....we practiced a few days before :) Jenna enjoyed seeing how many she could  cram in her hands without using the basket. Caden did great until he found an Easter Egg that looked like a basketball, then it was game over. We had so much fun watching them run around the yard....and I mean RUN. :) They ate waaaaay too much chocolate that day, but it was fun spoiling them and making memories.

in LOVE with their easter baskets!
